Description The beautifully crafted map features Priest Lake, located in the idyllic setting of Bonner County, Idaho, known as the "crown jewel" of the state. This topographic depiction offers a true appreciation of one of Idaho s largest natural lakes. Priest Lake is encased by the majestic Selkirk Mountains and is replete with activities for every season. Its crystal-clear waters are filled with species like bluegill, kokanee, and trophy-size lake trout that make it an angler's paradise. In the winter, the snowy landscapes transform into a playground, catering to those who love the crisp outdoor air.
For those seeking a tranquil escape, Upper Priest Lake, accessible only by boat or hiking, offers a more primitive camping experience amidst the area s natural splendor. With a policy of catch-and-release for cutthroat trout, it ensures a sustainable and vibrant fish population.
Priest Lake is surrounded by small towns like Priest River and Sandpoint, which offer a variety of shops, restaurants, and cultural events, making it a great starting point for exploring the charm of the Idaho Panhandle
